Responsibilities
As a Site Agent, you will:
- Manage and lead Civil Engineering site teams to deliver excellence on project objectives.
- Oversee a package of works on a high-profile project within the energy sector.
- Drive a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across all site activities.
- Effectively communicate with and support site supervisors and staff to ensure collaboration and team alignment.
- Plan, programme, and resource site works to meet the agreed timetable and milestones.
- Proactively resolve challenges, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative working environment, recognizing and leveraging the strengths of a diverse workforce.
Qualifications

Essential:
- Proven ability to lead the successful delivery of Civil Engineering site teams in a leadership role.
- Valid CSCS card applicable to the scope of the role.
- SMSTS qualification—Site Management Safety Training Scheme.
- Demonstrable experience in ensuring Health & Safety compliance within a project.
- Willingness to travel across various project locations.
Desirable:
- Certification as a Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator.
- Crane Appointed Person accreditation.
- Knowledge of HSG47 - Underground Services.
- Experience in programming and planning within Civil Engineering projects.
- Experience working with a direct delivery workforce.
- First Aid qualification at work.
- Demonstrated experience in the energy sector, particularly on infrastructure projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor site teams, fostering a transparent and supportive work culture.
- Monitor progress on civil works packages, ensuring all milestone targets are met.
- Assess and manage site safety, adhering to company and industry health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality expectations.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to effectively allocate resources and address technical challenges.
- Attend and contribute to project and stakeholder meetings to deliver updates on progress and potential risks.
- Promote and advocate sustainability initiatives and diverse engagement efforts within the project.
