Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Successful Project Delivery: Managing the end-to-end delivery of construction or civil engineering projects while ensuring they meet or exceed safety, quality, and efficiency benchmarks.
- Leadership and Team Development: Leading, motivating, and developing project teams to ensure they perform at their best.
- Compliance Management: Ensuring all projects comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively planning, organising, and maintaining strong communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Proven track record of delivering construction or civil engineering projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with risk and opportunity management strategies.
- Strong commercial awareness, including the ability to forecast contract performance.
- Relevant professional certifications such as SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme), First Aid, TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator), or Lift Appointed Person Certification.
